Key Responsibilities:
Club Leadership & Operations
- Oversee the overall operations of the club, ensuring smooth daily functioning across sales, service, and facility management.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve club performance targets and operational excellence.
- Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor, engaging with members and staff to foster a positive club environment.
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive membership growth and revenue by managing and coaching the sales team to achieve monthly targets.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and implement strategies to improve results.
- Analyse business performance including sales reports and profit and loss statements to ensure targets are achieved.
Team Management & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across sales, service, and operations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that motivates staff and supports career development.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage the club's financial performance including revenue growth, cost control, and budget adherence.
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company policies, systems, and procedures.
- Monitor operational processes to minimise risks and ensure proper audit controls.
Member Experience & Retention
Ensure members receive exceptional service at every touchpoint.
Address member feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement initiatives to enhance member engagement and improve retention rates.
Facilities & Safety
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility maintenance within the club.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operational.
- Work with relevant teams and vendors to ensure a safe and welcoming club environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, business management, or club management, preferably within the fitness, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing sales targets, budgets, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage members and staff effectively.
- Highly driven, proactive, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Passionate about the fitness industry and delivering outstanding member experiences.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
