Role Summary

Overall experience of 15+ years as Technical Architect of Oracle Fusion ERP & EPM, Overall, 5-7 years on PaaS cloud -OIC, VBCS

Reporting to the Senior IT Business Partner -Finance, this position is responsible for managing & Implementing Oracle Cloud applications. The position also ensures the timely resolution of all technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Cloud Architecture: Design and document the technical architecture for non-functional aspects of Oracle Fusion SaaS and integrated OCI PaaS components, focusing on performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery.

Networking & Security (OCI/SaaS): Design and validate secure network configurations, specifically leveraging OCI network services (VCNs, Fast Connect/VPN Connect, Security Lists) for secure communication between Oracle Fusion SaaS, PaaS extensions, and on-premises systems. Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and Oracle best practices.

Integration Strategy: Define the technical architecture for complex integrations, utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other PaaS tools (e.g., SOA Cloud Service) for high-volume, real-time, and batch data exchange with Oracle Fusion SaaS (using REST/SOAP APIs, Extracts, and HDL).

OCI DevOps & CI/CD: Define and set up the CI/CD pipeline and tooling on OCI to automate deployment, testing, and environment provisioning for custom applications, integrations, and extensions developed on PaaS (e.g., Visual Builder Cloud Service - VBCS).

Document Management: Architect the solution for document generation, storage, and retention within the Fusion SaaS and associated OCI Object Storage or Content Management services, ensuring security and compliance.

Environment Management: Establish and manage the environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) in the Oracle ecosystem and define the process for migrating configurations and data between them.

Required Skills and Experience:

. Deep Oracle Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing technical solutions utilizing Oracle Fusion SaaS and the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) PaaS stack.

. Fusion SaaS Technical Focus: Strong understanding of the technical configuration, integration points, and security models within the core Fusion SaaS modules.

. Technical Proficiency (Oracle Specific):

o Expertise in OCI Networking and Security concepts (VCNs, IAM, Security Lists, and leveraging security features inherent in Oracle Fusion SaaS).

o Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for complex integrations.

o Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for OCI PaaS components.

o Strong knowledge of Extracts, HDL, HSDL, and BI Publisher for data management and reporting.

o Experience with designing and setting up OCI Observability and Management services for performance monitoring

. Consulting & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

. Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the Oracle SaaS and PaaS boundary.

. Collaborate closely with the in-house IT team &external vendors to support operations, projects and system enhancements.

. Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

. Experience with e-invoice platforms and maritime-related procurement and commercial systems is preferred.

. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

. More than 5 to 10 years of experience in technical architecture, solutions design, or consulting roles, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion SaaS implementations.

. Relevant Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional) highly desirable.
