Join our dynamic IT infrastructure team at DSTA, where you will play a key role in transforming digital services and driving innovation in on-premise cloud infrastructure.
As part of this team, you will
- Architect, implement, integrate, and operate on-premise cloud infrastructure that delivers compute, storage, and networking for platforms and applications
- Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade solutions for security monitoring, backup, and compliance across different networks to ensure a high degree of security and resilience
- Identify and lead initiatives to explore and deploy new technologies and proof-of-concepts that enhance system design and cloud infrastructure performance
- Plan, implement, and manage automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to enforce security compliance and optimise cloud performance and resource utilisation
Requirements
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies is preferred:
- Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (e.g., Nutanix, Hyper-V)
- Cloud network, security, or platform services (e.g., SAN, Object and File Storage, IAM, Configuration and Compliance Management)
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies such as Nutanix, Docker, and Kubernetes is an added advantage
- Experience in scripting or coding (e.g., VBS, Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) is an added advantage
- Knowledge of government IT security policies and processes will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills, with a resourceful, meticulous, and collaborative mindset and excellent communication abilities
