Collaborate in the design of security controls and systems in alignment with security guidelines
Assist in the testing and evaluation of new security technologies and controls
Document the design, operation, use, and expected outputs of new systems
Aware of modern security software architectures and network architecture design best practices
Participate in the Implementation of new enterprise security architecture, technologies and enhancements
Resolve issues that arise in implementation of new security systems
Monitor security systems for strengths and weaknesses and propose improvements to address weaknesses
Involve in the maintenance of security systems, platforms and associated software
Collaborate in the development and implementation of custom disaster recovery drills and simulation tests on existing systems
Assist in the resolution of identified problems and incidents
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering or Cloud Security Engineering.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services
Experience in Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Solid understanding of basic security concepts such as Zero Trust, Least Privilege Access, Encryption and Key Management and Security Incident Response
Familiarity with cloud security products including Firewalls, Vulnerability scanning and remediation tools and logging and monitoring tools
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn emerging cloud security technologies
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
Exposure to Azure or multi-cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, CIS benchmarks, or cloud compliance frameworks.
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or above preferred.
Exposure to modern DevOps toolchains and multi-cloud strategy initiatives.
Career progression toward Senior Cloud Engineer or DevOps Architect roles.
