Work where you make an impact. We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and help secure our cloud infrastructure. You will identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in AWS and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform AWS security assessments and vulnerability tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, security groups, and monitoring tools.
- Manage VMS applications like Tenable and develop automated scripts for scanning, reporting, and remediation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities.
- Remain informed on security trends and AWS features to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Prepare documentation and reports for management and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on cloud security experience in AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, risk management, and best practices.
- Experience with Tenable and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda).
- Good understanding of vulnerability scanning and security management tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- AWS or RHEL certifications are a plus.
