Job Summary:-

IT Operations & Cloud Security Engineer professional with strong experience in change management, risk assessment, and security compliance across enterprise IT environments. Skilled in enforcing ITIL-aligned change management processes to minimize risk, reduce downtime, and ensure operational stability.

Hands-on expertise in managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch, with a focus on automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. Experienced in supporting security incident response, audits, and compliance initiatives aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, and SOC 2.

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across IT operations, cloud governance, and security posture.

Responsibilities:

Change Management: Oversee the change management process, enforce Change Management policies to minimize risks and downtime, ensuring proper documentation, review, and approval of changes to minimize disruptions.

Risk Assessment & Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments, ensuring systems adhere to IT security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).

Security & Incident Management: Enforce IT security policies and assist in security incident response and audits.

AWS Management: Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, automate deployments using tools like Terraform/CloudFormation, and optimize cloud resources.

Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to support IT operations, providing updates on change management, risk, and security compliance.

Monitoring & Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and availability of IT systems and cloud resources.

Required Skills

Proven experience in IT operations, change management, and security compliance.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc).

Familiarity with ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks.

Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

Strong problem-solving, incident management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 2).
