Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Project Manager to lead and deliver cloud-based initiatives, including cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and cloud-native application deployments. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee cloud projects across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
- Coordinate with cloud engineers, DevOps, security, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and status reports
- Lead cloud migration initiatives (rehost, replatform, refactor)
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Track dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) where applicable
- Communicate progress, issues, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage cloud budgets and optimize costs in collaboration with finance and engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 37+ years of project management experience, including cloud or IT infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience managing projects on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts and DevOps practices
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks
- Background in cloud migration or digital transformation programs
