Cloud Platform Architect

Job Description

. We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Platform Architect to lead cloud architectural design, deployment, and governance across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in cloud and application architecture, working closely with multiple teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

. This role includes hands-on involvement in delivering high-availability systems and operational excellence while managing vendor relationships and ensuring best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead end-to-end cloud architecture design across multi-cloud environments (public, private, hybrid).

. Develop and implement cloud adoption plans, cloud application architectures, and deployment strategies.

. Design, configure, and harden cloud-based enterprise platforms including Pega, Elastic, Kafka, and MSSQL.

. Ensure high availability, resiliency, and security of critical system components.

. Manage, operationalize, and monitor cloud services, ensuring performance and SLA compliance.

. Engage with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with business and IT strategies.

. Collaborate closely with third-party vendors for solution implementation and ongoing operations.

. Provide expert guidance to engineering teams lead architectural reviews, workshops, and trainings.

. Identify and mitigate risks perform root cause analysis and remediation for cloud-related issues.

. Continuously assess and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

. Recommend emerging cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks to support modernization initiatives.

. Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud designs, policies, and operational procedures.
