Cloud Platform Architect - Contract

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cloud Platform Architect is a subject matter expert responsible for overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments - including public, private, and hybrid cloud.
This role leads cloud adoption planning, application design, and ongoing management of cloud services, while collaborating across teams to drive key architectural decisions

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee application architecture & deployment across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments

Develop cloud adoption plans and design cloud-native applications

Design and implement scalable cloud solutions aligned with business needs

Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools to enhance performance

Manage, monitor, and continuously optimise cloud services for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with organisational goals

Lead workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and best practices

Manage and mentor the team own team-level decisions and contribute to cross-team decisions
