We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Lead to manage and lead a team across system administration, endpoint management, and cloud operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical contribution with people management, operational governance, and customer-facing responsibilities.
You will oversee cloud operations in AWS environments, ensure ITIL-aligned service delivery, and drive operational excellence across incident, change, problem, and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud and systems engineers, promoting best practices and operational discipline.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers on operational issues and service delivery.
- Manage day-to-day operations including incidents, changes, problems, patching, and vulnerability management.
- Assign and prioritize workloads to ensure efficient task execution.
- Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and SLA requirements.
- Proactively manage operational risks and resolve issues with minimal business impact.
- Engage with cloud service providers, OEMs, and technology partners on operations and improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT or cloud operations environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud operations.
- Solid understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes.
- Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards.
- Strong technical background in one or more areas: system administration, networking, cybersecurity, IAM, endpoint computing, or business continuity.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as Tenable, CyberArk, NetBackup, Splunk, Palo Alto, or similar.
