We are seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to manage and mentor a team of 6-10 engineers, including System Administrators, Endpoint Administrators, and Cloud SysOps Engineers. You will act as both a leader and hands-on contributor, overseeing cloud infrastructure operations, ITIL processes, and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering operational excellence and knowledge sharing
Assign and manage workloads effectively to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on operational issues
Oversee change management, incident management, problem management, and vulnerability management
Ensure systems and infrastructure are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with IT security standards
Proactively monitor daily events, tasks, and incidents to minimize operational impact
Engage with Cloud Service Providers, OEMs, and principals to stay updated on industry trends and technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure operational success
Guide the team in best practices for cloud infrastructure and application management
Ensure compliance with ITIL and enterprise-class operational standards
Support and review the use of enterprise-class applications, such as Tenable, CyberArk, NetBackup, Splunk, Palo Alto, Symantec Endpoint Protection
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT operations or cloud environments
Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
System administration, Networking, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, MS Active Directory & IAM, Endpoint Computing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
