about the job

Take on a senior technical leadership role managing a large-scale virtualized infrastructure while driving automation and performance excellence.

• Deliver comprehensive administration for a extensive Windows VM environment, including installation, advanced hardening, and proactive capacity management.

• Lead complex infrastructure setups, specifically focusing on Microsoft SQL Clustering on Windows virtual machines to ensure high availability.

• Oversee the operational health of VMware vSphere environments and ensure seamless integration with data center facilities.

• Manage end-to-end incident, change, and problem management while providing expert guidance to development teams on application configurations.

• Enhance operational efficiency by integrating server automation processes through custom scripts or third-party tools like Chef.

skills and experience required

• More than 10 years of intensive experience in Windows and RHEL administration, with a mandatory background in supporting SQL Clusters and RHEL in DMZ environments.

• Professional technical proficiency in networking and SAN storage configurations relevant to enterprise-level server environments.

• Hands-on expertise with critical infrastructure agents such as NetBackup and BMC Patrol, alongside exposure to tools like Splunk, Jenkins, or Bitbucket.

• Proven technical leadership with the ability to manage sensitive situations and collaborate effectively across storage, security, and application delivery teams.

• Exceptional communication skills and the intellectual drive to resolve complex technical challenges through multiple support channels.
