Role Description
The Cloud Operations Associate is responsible for supporting cloud infrastructure operations, system monitoring, deployment coordination, and technical support activities to ensure stable and efficient cloud-based services. This role assists in maintaining cloud environments, monitoring system performance, resolving operational issues, and supporting infrastructure optimization across business and technology operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily cloud infrastructure and operational activities
- Monitoring cloud systems, applications, and service performance
- Assisting with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based environments
- Troubleshooting operational incidents, system issues, and service disruptions
- Supporting cloud security, backup, and access management processes
- Coordinating with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams on operational improvements
- Monitoring operational KPIs, system logs, and cloud resource utilization
- Maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and support records
- Assisting with automation, system optimization, and cloud migration initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with operational standards, security policies, and governance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in cloud operations, IT infrastructure, technical support, or system administration roles
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, virtualization, and infrastructure concepts
- Experience with Linux, Windows Server, or cloud-based operational environments is an advantage
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in technical reporting and operational documentation
- Ability to work in fast-paced technical environments
- Willingness to learn cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices
