Cloud Operation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Cloud Platform Operations

• Responsible for daily operations across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Alibaba Cloud, and other cloud environments, including resource deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud architectures to support business continuity.

2. Automation & Tooling Development

• Use Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.

3. Security & Compliance

• Establish cloud security policies, including access control, vulnerability scanning, and data encryption.

• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.

4. Technical Support & Collaboration

• Provide cloud native technical support to development teams, assisting with Kubernetes clusters, Service Mesh (e.g., Istio), and related issues.

• Participate in cross department technical reviews and contribute to cloud cost optimization initiatives.

5. Databases / Big Data / Middleware

• Manage cloud databases such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

• Perform daily maintenance for Kafka.

• Support and maintain big data and analytical systems including ClickHouse, HBase, StarRocks, and Spark.

Qualifications

1. Mandatory Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: 5+ years of cloud operations experience, with at least 2 years of hands on work on GCP, OCI, Alibaba Cloud, or similar platforms.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficient in Kubernetes cluster administration and Helm Chart management.

o Strong understanding of cloud network architecture (VPC, load balancing, CDN, firewall policies).

o Skilled in traffic management using Nginx/OpenResty.

o Capable of building monitoring systems using Prometheus + Grafana.

2. Preferred Qualifications

• Holders of GCP Professional Cloud Architect or OCI expert certifications.

• Experience in cloud migration projects within financial or e commerce industries.
