Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Permanent)

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and maintain our cloud and IT infrastructure. This role involves administering systems, collaborating on system development, and providing on-call support to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and administer network systems, operating systems, storage, and backup solutions

• Collaborate on system design, implementation, integration, and testing

• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis to minimize unplanned system outages

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective procedures

• Create and maintain technical and programmatic documentation for efficient operations

• Coordinate with external parties and customers to resolve technical issues

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT or cloud operations

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure including operating systems and networking

• Passionate about learning new technologies and skillsets

• Strong team player with ability to work independently

• Able to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively

Advantageous Skills & Certifications

• Networking knowledge or CCNA certification

• VMware NSX or virtualization experience (VMware, vSphere)
