Are you ready to transition from building to leading We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure / Operations Lead to own the operational lifecycle of our expansive AWS cloud environment. This role is designed for a technical expert who excels at mentorship and process optimization.
You will lead a talented team of 6 to 10 engineers through complex incident resolutions, proactive security patching, and the continuous evolution of our infrastructure governance with a mastery of ITIL / ITSM frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 Cloud SysOps and System Administrators, driving technical excellence and professional growth.
- Oversee the Day 2 operations of a robust AWS environment, ensuring all systems meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Act as the technical escalation point for critical incidents. You will lead the investigation into root causes and implement long-term preventative measures.
- Take ownership of the vulnerability management lifecycle, utilizing enterprise tools to ensure patching and security compliance are never compromised.
- Manage ITIL-based processes including Change Management, Capacity Planning, and Business Continuity (BCP/DR) to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to transition legacy systems into modern, secure cloud-hosted environments.
Requirement
- Proven experience in AWS Cloud Operations ( EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch ) and Active Directory management.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with enterprise security suites such as Tenable (Vulnerability), CyberArk (Privileged Access), and Splunk (Log Management).
- Strong foundation in ITIL/ITSM processes with a track record of managing high-pressure incident response.
- Solid background in Windows/Linux server administration, including backup solutions (e.g., NetBackup) and endpoint protection (e.g., Symantec).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable business insights
