We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure cloud operations, cloud migrations, and infrastructure automation, and will be responsible for supporting our move from on-premises to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support cloud operations and migration from on-premises to Azure.
- Manage and configure Azure File Share (AFS), Resource Groups, and Terraform-based deployments.
- Implement and maintain hybrid cloud architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Monitor and optimize the cost, performance, and utilization of cloud infrastructure.
- Plan and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Apply scripting and automation tools (Git, Bash, Terraform, Python, PowerShell) to streamline operations.
- Drive cloud infrastructure projects within the region.
- Implement and maintain security controls and compliance standards across cloud environments.

Primary Skills
- Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices.
Secondary Skills
- Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AliCloud) and on-prem technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) will be an advantage.
Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead regional cloud infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
