Role Overview
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and automating cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of critical workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement monitoring systems, logs, performance tuning, and capacity plans.
- Build automation frameworks for provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container operations.
- Work with security teams to enforce compliance, identity controls, and resilience.
- Support incident resolution and participate in on-call/production support cycles.
Requirements
- 5+ years cloud engineering experience across enterprise workloads.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, and cloud storage/networking models.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Bash) and automation tooling.
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and DevOps mindset.
