Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage and support cloud infrastructure across commercial and Singapore Government environments. This role focuses on multi-cloud operations (AWS & Azure), with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code, system operations, deployment, troubleshooting, and security compliance.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, automation-driven, and capable of leading operational improvements while ensuring high availability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Operations

Manage and maintain production cloud services across AWS and Azure Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability Provide support for production and staging environments, including off-hours when required

  • Infrastructure as Code

Maintain and enhance infrastructure pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Ansible. Troubleshoot deployment issues and configuration drift Drive automation and adopt GitOps practices

  • Application Support

Deploy and troubleshoot applications on Windows and Linux systems Work with development teams to resolve system and performance issues Implement monitoring and alerting solutions

  • Security & Compliance

Apply security hardening aligned with CIS benchmarks and government standards Perform vulnerability remediation and manage SSL certificates Ensure systems meet audit, compliance, and lifecycle requirements

  • Containers & DevSecOps

Support container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate security practices Familiarity with government DevSecOps frameworks (e.g., SHIP-HATS) is advantageous

  • Service Management

Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management Handle ITSM tickets and coordinate escalations Participate in change reviews and maintain service levels

  • Monitoring & Tooling

Configure monitoring, logging, and observability tools Integrate solutions like NGINX, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor

  • Documentation

Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and system documentation. Ensure accurate records for audits and asset management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields preferred
  • Experienced professionals are encouraged to apply
