Job Summary
Our client within the Financial Service (FSI) sector is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong experience working on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- At least 4 years of working experience as a Cloud Engineer (DevOps), with expertise in Microsoft Azure;
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible;
- Experience in cloud and network monitoring (Azure monitor, Grafana, Log Analytics, PRTG, Dynatrace);
- Experience in Cloudflare DNS and Web Application Firewall;
- Familiar with scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash);
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving as well as operational support skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in support Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 suite;
- Microsoft Azure certifications;
- Other relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, GIAC).
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure and manage Azure cloud environments;
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security (including IAM, network security, and encryption), and cost optimization;
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts and templates (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration;
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployments;
- Implement blue-green deployments and canary releases;
- Implement and monitor compliance standards and perform security assessments (like MAS TRM, PCI-DSS);
- Set up monitoring and logging solutions for cloud-based environments;
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues;
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and IT teams to align infrastructure needs;
- Document infrastructure configurations, IAC scripts, and deployment processes
