Job Description & Requirements
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the development and runtime environments for the product, which includes:
- Managing and executing the deployment, automation, maintenance and management of AWS cloud-based environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of applications development and runtime environments.
- Providing DevOps architecture implementation and operational support
- Architecting and planning for cloud deployments (Private and Public cloud)
- Developing and improving existing processes, automation, best practices, documentation
How to succeed:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- Passion for automation, standardisation and best practices.
- Experience in IAC configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience in deploying and managing cloud resources in AWS
- Experience in infrastructure, Linux system administration and networking
- Experience in Database technologies (Relational and Non Relational)
- Experience in Cloud Native Technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certification in cyber security will be a plus
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Meticulous and pay attention to details.
