Job Description
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the IT infrastructure and operational application domains, and take responsibility for designing, implementing, owning, and maintaining 24/7 technical operations support for Private/Hybrid Cloud, Windows/Linux systems, and networks.
- Automate processes and adopt Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Possess an understanding of DevOps principles and be skilled in using DevOps tools and techniques.
- Proficient in automation tools like Ansible, Python scripting, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and manage cloud-based networks with a strong understanding of data center networking. Familiar with Cisco ACI, Cisco IOS switches, and Nexus systems.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree or diploma in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, scalability, and elasticity, with familiarity in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud security, compliance, monitoring, as well as billing and cost management.
- Certification in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Administration or an equivalent qualification.
