Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable streamlined deployment and automation workflows.

• Create and maintain scripts, playbooks, and orchestration workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.

• Ensure compliance and security standards with emphasis on GCC, GCC+ environments, and SHIP-HAT governance.

• Utilize Jira and automated testing tools to track deployment activities and enhance process reliability.

• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize DevOps practices and cloud delivery performance.

• Monitor and improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency in cloud environments.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies, tooling, and best practices.

• Experience with cloud orchestration, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Practical exposure to Jira and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience working within SG Government cloud environments (GCC, GCC+ preferred).

• Familiarity with SHIP-HAT tools and cloud security frameworks.

• Proven track record in modern Cloud DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in AWS, Terraform, or DevOps-related disciplines.

• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive cloud environments, especially Government or Enterprise.

• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and audit requirements for cloud workloads.
