Deliver end-to-end cloud operations and implementation services across customer environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure.
Manage and administer cloud platforms (primarily AWS), including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of resources in accordance with best practices.
Execute cloud implementation projects, including deployments, migrations, and pilot engagements, aligned with client requirements and architectural design specifications.
Support and participate in cloud migration initiatives (e.g., VM and database migrations) using industry tools such as CloudEndure and Azure Migrate, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate deployments and operations using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Ensure all cloud configurations adhere to standards for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security, particularly (GCC) environments.
Collaborate with clients in technical discussions, operational reviews, and service improvement initiatives provide recommendations to optimize cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with SLAs, with clear documentation of root cause and preventive measures.
Contribute technical expertise and guidance to internal teams, supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the cloud practice.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud technologies, industry trends, and compliance requirements actively pursue relevant certifications.
Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of cloud services and foster strong client relationships.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in cloud operations, cloud engineering, or infrastructure delivery roles.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (experience with Azure or GCP is a plus).
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring services.
Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Exposure to cloud migration projects (VMs and/or databases), including tools like CloudEndure or Azure Migrate, is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g.,Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and operational tasks.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and governance frameworks (especially in Government on Commercial Cloud environments).
Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools in cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues within defined SLAs.
Good understanding of networking concepts (VPCs,subnets, routing, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers).
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to shared goals.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and stay updated with emerging cloud technologies.
