Manage the day-to-day operations of Government Cloud (GCC) Microsoft Azure infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
Lead the implementation of Azure cloud projects from planning and design through deployment and documentation.
Work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, and network teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and align on architectural decisions.
Design, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Networks and Subnets, enabling secure and scalable cloud environments.
Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSG) to enforce traffic control policies.
Deploy, configure, and support Azure Load Balancers (LB) for high availability and optimal performance.
Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies to protect web applications from threats and vulnerabilities.
Configure and administer Azure DNS for name resolution and service discovery.
Set up and maintain route tables and virtual network peerings to support hybrid, multi-region, and cross-subscription architectures.
Integrate and manage syslog solutions and maintain the Azure Log Analytics Workspace for effective monitoring, diagnostics, and auditing.
Oversee the procurement, management, and renewal of SSL certificates related to WAF and firewall infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards.
Ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis related to Azure infrastructure.
Continuously assess the environment for performance improvements, cost optimizations, and new service adoption opportunities.
Develop performance and operational reports.
Required Qualifications:
Certified in Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is mandatory.
Certified in Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) will be a plus.
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computing or equivalent
23 years of experience working with Azure infrastructure in GCC 1.0 and 2.0 environment.
Proven hands-on experience with Terraform for Azure automation.
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with logging analysis and monitoring via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
