Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a leading consulting client supporting enterprise cloud transformation projects.

This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, Linux servers, cloud migrations, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Linux and Windows servers across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Deploy and maintain cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Work with development teams on application deployments and troubleshooting.
• Support Oracle database environments and infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Monitor, optimize and secure cloud environments.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and support operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Route53, etc.)
• Linux administration
• Knowledge of Oracle Database
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
• Scripting (Python, Bash or PowerShell)
• CI/CD experience
• AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps certification is highly preferred

• Kubernetes / Docker
• DevOps automation
• Government Cloud (GCC) experience
