We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our project team supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms. The successful candidate will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across modern cloud environments. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work, automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, and/or Azure,
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation
- Support deployment, monitoring, and optimization of cloud workloads for performance, cost, and security
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Configure and maintain networking components (VPC/VNet, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers)
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and governance standards
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
- Work closely with application, security, and operations teams to support project delivery
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / Azure)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience supporting enterprise or government projects
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.)
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
