Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we are looking for a proactive and skilled Project Cloud Engineer to provide project management and manage cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud architecture, IoT devices, automation, security, and DevOps best practices. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, inventory management and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, App Services, Azure Functions, and Red Hat environments to deliver scalable cloud solutions
- Implement and maintain Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Front Door to ensure secure and efficient connectivity
- Perform security updates and vulnerability assessments on Red Hat and Windows systems to maintain cybersecurity compliance and reduce risks
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Azure environments to maintain system availability and performance
- Monitor and optimize Azure resource performance, cost efficiency, and security posture to support business objectives
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and customers to support application deployments and system integrations
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, schedule tasks, and ensure adherence to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity
- Manage software and hardware inventory systems, ensuring accurate updates and tracking of all items
Required competencies and certifications
- IT certifications including Azure Administrator Associate and Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- Experience in virtualized environment setup
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering with 1-2 years of experience in Azure cloud, IT security, IT networking, and Red Hat OS
- Experience working in a System Integration company with knowledge of IT infrastructure setup and project roles
- Strong interest in learning new technologies and products
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Proficient technical writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and meticulousness
