Job Description
Responsibilities: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. You will deploy infrastructure and platform environments, and create a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems. Beginner proficiency in Integration Architecture Implementation is required. Additionally, beginner proficiency in Cloud Design and Build, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud Platform Architecture is suggested.
Top 3 MUST have skills:
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including setup, configuration, and administration of compute, storage, and networking resources.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, able to automate provisioning and deployment workflows.
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking concepts (VPC, subnets, VPN, load balancers), and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch) to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance.
Good To Have Skills
Experience with containerization and orchestration.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to microservices architecture and DevOps practices.
Ability to optimize cloud cost management and implement best practices for resource utilization.
Experience in disaster recovery (DR) and backup solutions in cloud environments.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system administration.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks
