Job Description: Cloud Engineer (Azure)Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Cloud Engineer with a deep specialization in Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong automation-first mindset and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing cloud solutions in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture:Design, implement, and manage secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure to support application development and deployment.
- Automation & IaC (Infrastructure as Code):Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such asTerraformorAnsible.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management:Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines usingAzure DevOpsto streamline software delivery.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization:Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions usingAzure-native tools(e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
- Security & Governance:Enforce cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and industry governance standards across all Azure environments.
- Collaboration & Support:Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to provide cloud expertise, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality integrated solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient inAzure Core Services(Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases) andAzure Administration.
- Expertise in cloud automation and orchestration usingTerraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
- Hands-on experience building and managingCI/CD pipelinesinAzure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills inPowerShell, Python, or Bashfor automation tasks.
- Practical experience withAzure monitoring and logging toolsfor observability and troubleshooting.
- Professional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, service models, and architectural best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, compliance, and governance standards.
