Working hours: 8.30 am - 6pm (onsite)
Salary: Up to 6,000 + AWS
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer (Azure) to design, support, and optimize our cloud infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of our cloud-hosted platforms by leveraging Microsoft Azure services and best-practice cloud engineering principles.
This role is critical in strengthening our cloud foundation and enabling the secure delivery of our digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Implement and manage Azure virtual networks, security groups, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Monitor cloud performance and optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Implement governance, backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance frameworks across Azure workloads.
- Manage Azure AD, role-based access control (RBAC), and policies to ensure secure user and service access.
- Troubleshoot production issues relating to cloud infrastructure and provide operational support to internal teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to support deployment pipelines, automation, and cloud modernization efforts.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing or engineering cloud platforms, preferably in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services including:
- Virtual Machines, AKS, App Services
- VNet, VPN Gateway, Load Balancers, Application Gateways
- Storage Accounts, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
