JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure.

. Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance, availability, and security of cloud environments.

. Deploy and manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, and Identity services.

. Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), role-based access control (RBAC), and identity governance.

. Implement and support hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms.

. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).

. Configure and manage cloud-based monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

. Ensure security best practices including network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, and compliance policies.

. Manage cloud-based backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to support scalable and resilient architectures.

. Perform cloud cost optimization and capacity planning.

. Maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.

. Provide Level 2 support for cloud infrastructure issues and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications:

. Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably on Microsoft Azure.

. Strong knowledge of Azure core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity).

. Experience with Azure AD, RBAC, and hybrid identity solutions.

. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep.

. Familiarity with cloud security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks.

. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.

. Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, or CLI tools.

. Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancing).

. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

. Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent are preferred.
