Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, compliant, and highly available cloud platforms for government and public‑sector systems. The role focuses on embedding security‑by‑design into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application delivery, while ensuring alignment with government standards, audits, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with development, security, operations, and governance teams to deliver resilient, auditable, and scalable systems.
Responsibilities
Cloud & Platform Engineering
Design and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS/Hybrid where needed). Implement IaC (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation), run container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and ensure high availability, backup, DR, and capacity planning.

DevSecOps & Automation
Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with government SDLC. Automate deployments, security scans, compliance checks, and environment provisioning across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD with proper controls.

Security & Compliance
Embed DevSecOps practices across systems. Ensure compliance with IM8, PDPA, and government cloud standards. Manage secrets and keys securely, maintain audit logs, and address VAPT findings.

Governance & Collaboration
Work with stakeholders and vendors, follow change and security processes, and maintain documentation including architecture, runbooks, and compliance records.
Requirements
Cloud & DevOps
Hands-on experience in Cloud DevOps/DevSecOps, especially on Azure. Strong in CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, and multi-environment deployments.

Security
Solid understanding of cloud security, with experience implementing security controls in pipelines. Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and working in regulated/government environments.

Tools & Platforms
Proficient in Git, monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK), and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) on Linux.

Preferred
Experience with Singapore Government/GovTech projects, familiarity with IM8/PDPA, cloud certifications, and ITIL/ops support. AR/VR knowledge is a plus.
