We are seeking a skilled Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist to support the security of cloud and on-premise environments. The role focuses on security assessment, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring of cloud platforms, particularly within government or regulated cloud environments.
Job roles & responsibilities: -
- Perform security assessments and vulnerability management across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, with a focus on Government Cloud environments (GCC or equivalent).
- Monitor, analyse, and respond to security events using cloud security and logging platforms.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, configurations, and best practices.
- Review security findings and provide risk assessments with actionable remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams, system officers-in-charge, and external vendors to resolve security issues.
- Support compliance, audit, and governance requirements related to cloud security.
- Prepare clear security reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders.
Job Skills & Requirements: -
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least one internationally recognised security certification, such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CRISC
- CISA
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Cybersecurity, including:
- Cloud security assessments
- Vulnerability management
- Security operations across cloud and on-premise environments
- Experience working with Government or regulated cloud environments is required.
Technical skills (Preferred): -
- Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms:
- Azure Log Analytics
- AWS CloudWatch
- AWS Security Hub / CSPM tools
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Understanding of cloud security architecture and monitoring tools across Azure and/or AWS environments.
