Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design, deployment, and configuration of cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will partner with clients across Southeast Asiaincluding public sector and financial institutionsto modernize application architectures, implement cloud strategies, and deliver transformational outcomes. This role combines hands-on technical delivery, advisory expertise, and leadership in cloud adoption projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy & Advisory:

• Conduct cloud migration assessments and craft strategic roadmaps for clients.
• Engage with clients to understand current infrastructure, applications, databases, and APIs to design future-state cloud environments.
• Advise clients on modern application architecture, microservices, and event-driven design patterns.

Technical Delivery & Implementation:

• Lead the implementation of cloud solutions, including architecture design, planning, and deployment.
• Design and automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and demonstrate cloud capabilities to clients.

Team Leadership & Knowledge Transfer:

• Serve as technical SME in front of clients and lead workstreams of cloud engineering teams.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, reviewing their work and imparting best practices.
• Prepare, review, and present technical documentation and presentations.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement:

• Support pre-sales activities and proposal development for cloud projects.
• Actively engage in cloud conversations with clients to identify opportunities for adoption of public cloud technologies.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience implementing private/public/hybrid cloud solutions, with at least 5 full cloud implementation cycles.
• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud services, cloud architecture, cloud-native patterns, and container management.
• Proficient in Node.js, React.js, or other JavaScript frameworks; experience in Python, Java, or C#/.NET is a plus.
• Skilled in designing microservices/event-driven architectures and performing infrastructure sizing.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP), Linux/Unix or Windows administration, and IT infrastructure stacks.
• Knowledge of agile software development and DevOps concepts, including Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Enterprise Architect certification and/or technical certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert or AWS Solution Architect Professional are preferred.
