- Lead end-to-end architecture design for Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable OCI architectures.
- Design and implement core OCI services, including:
- Compute, Networking (VCN, DRG, Load Balancers)
- Object & Block Storage
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service
- Kubernetes (OKE) and container-based architectures
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions integrating OCI with on-premise and other cloud platforms.
- Drive migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor) from legacy systems to OCI.
- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Ensure cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization best practices.
- Provide technical leadership during pre-sales, solutioning, and client workshops.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to OCI capability development within IBM Consulting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IBM Cloud, Red Hat, and data/AI practices
The Pre-requisites

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline is required.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cloud architecture, with a preference for those having expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Database, or similar environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle cloud services, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures is essential.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) equivalent to Terraform (OCI Provider) or OCI Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with Oracle-specific DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills are necessary for effective communication and coordination across different teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant Oracle cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Architect) are preferred but not mandatory. They demonstrate a commitment to staying current with Oracle's latest offerings and best practices.
