The position is responsible for supporting the introduction, implementation, and ongoing use of blood purification products. This role combines product education, technical and clinical support, customer engagement, and coordination for facility implementation to ensure safe, effective, and compliant product usage.
Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with surgeons, physicians, clinical engineers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with customer accounts regarding product updates, portfolio changes, educational programs, and clinical information.
- Execute sales plans and territory strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Support and participate in product launches, workshops, and clinical education sessions.
- Conduct product introductions and detailed presentations to healthcare facilities, including clinical and technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical and clinical training to the client on blood purification products (including associated machines/devices) to ensure correct and safe usage.
- Support pre-installation and facility readiness activities, including coordination of contracts, documentation, and implementation requirements.
- Deliver ongoing technical support and troubleshooting, both during and after product implementation.
- Perform regular customer visits to maintain relationships, monitor product performance, and identify new opportunities or unmet needs.
- Collect, analyse, and report market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Gather, document, and report adverse events and side effects in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, regulatory, quality, and logistics) to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Support regulatory compliance, internal quality standards, and post-market surveillance activities.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Nursing, or a related field
- Nurse or Clinical Engineer (CE) qualification is highly preferred, particularly for candidates with experience in blood purification therapy or dialysis.
- Candidates with a Nurse or Clinical Engineer (CE) background and sales experience will be considered (subject to discussion).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical devices, healthcare, or healthcare-related sales.
- Prior experience in medical devices, blood purification, dialysis, or related healthcare fields is an advantage.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows, hospital or clinic environments, and medical equipment operation; experience in surgical settings is a plus.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical and medical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with field-based work, including regular engagement with hospitals and clinics.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and on-site support as required.
- Proficiency in business-level Japanese will be an advantage in communicating with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
