Clinical Research Coordinator, NUHCS (Cardiology)

Overview:

The Cardiovascular Disease National Collaborative Enterprise (CADENCE) is a national program for Cardiovascular Research that aims to strengthen the overall impact of cardiovascular research and translation by integrating existing capabilities, and bringing together the strongest basic, clinical and translational talent and expertise across Singapore.

This position is part of the CADENCE Use Case 3 to help with clinical research study, AdLip, which involves use of human-AI Symbiosis Personal Health Assistant to improve Adherence to Lipid-Lowering medications. Use Case 3, CADENCE is seeking to hire candidates with pharmacy work experiences and project management skills to support the following areas:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist PI to manage project start-up, day-to-day operations of the project, and project close-out activities.
• Gather health related information and work-up suitability of patients according to inclusion / exclusion criteria, for a close support for frontline clinicians.
• Lead in training for use of follow-up tools to assess for drug related ADRs as part of study design.
• Gather and review, prepare reports for drug-use related outcome measures.
• Assisting PI to liaise between clinical and technology teams and collaborators.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in a related discipline, preferably in Biomedical or Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science
• Previous experience in Human Biomedical Research (HBR) and/or experience working in public hospitals / healthcare systems will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple demands and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Responsible and independent, with a strong sense of priority and the ability to work in a team.
