Brief Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring a high standard of care and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for intake and intervention planning. Develop and implement individualised intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers. Deliver psychological interventions and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) while addressing behavioural, emotional, and mental health needs. Participate in case management, care planning, and transition planning to enhance clients quality of life and functional outcomes. Provide consultation, coaching, and training to staff and caregivers on behavioural management and person-centred support strategies. Contribute to programme development and service improvement initiatives using evidence-based practices. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including assessment reports and service records. Monitor service outcomes, prepare reports, and support audits and quality improvement activities. Attend multidisciplinary meetings and engage in professional development to uphold professional competency. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A recognised Master's degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Educational Psychology) from an accredited institution. Registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP). Relevant experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is beneficial. Strong commitment to person-centred and quality-of-life focused practices. Ability to work effectively across various service settings and with diverse client profiles.
