Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical interviews, screenings, and assessments for patients in an outpatient environment. Provide individual and group consultations to patients, fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Develop, implement, and evaluate mental health programs aimed at improving the quality of patient care. Design and oversee in-house training and development programs for healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery. Perform clinical administration associated with patient care processes. Monitor and assess clinical outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Travel to various locations within the healthcare network as part of the role.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical or Counselling Psychology). A minimum of 1 year of experience in counseling patients with chronic health and psychiatric issues in an outpatient setting. Registration with the Singapore Registrar of Psychologists is preferred. Strong interest in Primary Care Psychology with demonstrated therapeutic skills for managing chronic diseases and promoting population health. Ability to work independently while managing clinical services across different sites.
