Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to operating theatre staff during orthopaedic surgeries.
- Ensure surgical instruments and implants are complete, clean, and properly packed before and after procedures.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of orthopaedic implants, instruments, and surgical techniques to support surgeons and nurses effectively.
- Support sales activities by assisting in in-service training sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and product demonstrations for healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documentation, including pricing and product specifications.
- Assist sales teams with inventory management across the product portfolio.
- Monitor and replenish consignment implants when required, ensuring availability at all times.
- Be available for on-call duties and mobilise promptly for assigned surgeries.
- Provide surgical support during weekends or outside regular hours when necessary.
- Arrive at the operating theatre at least 15 minutes before scheduled surgeries to prepare equipment and materials.
- Collect and relay feedback, complaints, and improvement suggestions from surgeons and nurses to the sales team.
- Support cataloguing and documentation activities as needed.
- Assist with bi-annual stock-taking and inventory audits.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
- Comfortable in on call duties when required
