Purpose of Role
To lead the clinical operations of the physiotherapy business, ensure delivery of safe and evidence-based physiotherapy services, develop rehabilitation programmes, supervise staff, and maintain compliance with AHPC and relevant Singapore regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop treatment plans
- Provide manual therapy
- Prescribe rehabilitation exercises
- Conduct post-surgical rehabilitation
- Conduct sports injury rehabilitation
- Manage chronic pain conditions
- Determine fitness to return to training
Clinical Governance
- Develop SOPs
- Establish treatment protocols
- Conduct case reviews
- Audit patient records
- Ensure informed consent standards
- Ensure documentation compliance
- Manage incident reporting
Team Leadership
- Supervise junior physiotherapists
- Supervise rehab trainers
- Conduct staff training
- Conduct competency assessments
- Manage performance reviews
Business Development
- Develop referral networks
- Build relationships with: Orthopaedic specialists, Sports physicians, GPs, Insurance panels, Corporate wellness partners
Gym Integration
- Design rehab-to-gym pathways
- Design return-to-training protocols
- Review trainer-led rehab programmes
- Educate PTs regarding injury management
Minimum Requirements
Mandatory
- AHPC Registered Physiotherapist
- Valid Practising Certificate (PC)
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
- Minimum 5-8 years clinical experience
Preferred
- Sports physiotherapy background
- Private practice experience
- Clinical leadership experience
- Experience supervising staff
