Training and education for Nursing staff and students
- Establish optimal clinical learning environment.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate preceptorship scheme for strengthening clinical support of new staff.
- Provide OJT training of new staff and assist Nurse Managers in the wards to ensure their competencies.
- Co-ordinate and organize training activities to strengthen unit-based generic and specialty clinical practices.
- Plan, implement and evaluate unit-based and discipline-based training courses.
- Ensure appropriate orientation, training and continuing education for nursing staff to advance and maintain the required level of competency.
Assist to develop and implement Nursing Standards
- Ensure that patient care delivery is implemented and monitored according to established standards of care and practice.
- Act as a resource person to Nurse Manager on clinical nursing and nursing training matters and issues.
- Apply principles to prevent medico-legal issues in relation to patient care and perform summative assessment of nursing staff and students.
- Training and education for other non-nursing staff/volunteers.
- Develop and conduct hospital-based training in relation to MOH requirements and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Prerably to have a Specialist Diploma in clinical education.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
- At least 6 years of experience in clinical care.
- Must be Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board

Working Hours : 5 days work week (Mon - Fri : 8.30 am to 5.45 pm)
