Job Summary
Manage daily operations of a General Practitioner clinic to ensure efficient functioning, high service quality, and clinical standards while supporting patient care and clinic performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a General Practitioner clinic to maintain optimal functioning
- Ensure consistent delivery of high service and clinical standards across the clinic
- Register patients, schedule appointments, dispense medications and consumables, and collect payments accurately
- Perform general administrative duties including updating medical billings and invoices
- Conduct monthly stock taking of drugs and consumables to maintain inventory accuracy
- Assist doctors in treatment and medical examinations to support patient care
- Plan and execute action plans to enhance service quality and clinical standards
- Investigate and resolve patient complaints to improve satisfaction and clinic reputation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects to enhance service quality and patient experience
- Support management by preparing and analyzing clinic performance data for operational planning
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients
Required competencies
- Minimum 3 years experience in a clinic environment, preferably in a managerial role
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated by managing clinic teams and operations
- Customer management: Ability to foster positive patient relationships and service delivery
- Customer service orientation with knowledge of basic business management processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Good people skills to maintain a supportive and collaborative clinic environment
