We are a small independent GP clinic serving families, seniors, and children in the Tampines neighbourhood. We are looking for a part-time Clinic Assistant to join us across morning, afternoon, and evening sessions on weekdays and weekends.

We don't deal with insurance TPAs, so the pace is steady and the focus is on the patient in front of us. We are a small team where people are treated as people. We teach and guide each other, and whoever joins us will find themselves learning things that genuinely add to their skills.

Hours

Monday to Thursday

• Morning: 8.30am - 1.30pm

• Afternoon: 2.30pm - 4.30pm

• Evening: 7.00pm - 9.00pm

Friday

• Morning: 8.30am - 1.30pm

• Afternoon: 2.30pm - 4.30pm

Saturday

• 8.30am - 12.30pm

Sunday

• 9.00am - 12.00pm

Closed on Public Holidays

You will not be required to cover all sessions. We will work out a schedule that fits your availability.

What you will be doing

• Registering patients and managing the queue

• Handling cash, NETS, and PayNow payments

• Billing via CHAS, Medisave, and MBS@gov

• Taking vital signs - blood pressure, temperature, body measurements, eye checks etc

• Dispensing medications as directed by the doctor

• Assisting with minor procedures and specimen handling

• General clinic upkeep and opening/closing duties

Who we are looking for

• A kind and compassionate heart

• Prior clinic experience preferred

• Patient and comfortable with elderly patients and children

• Ability to converse in Mandarin - many of our patients are Mandarin-speaking elderly residents

• Reliable and able to commit

• Comfortable with cash handling and basic computer tasks

Pay and Benefits

• $12 to $16 per hour, based on experience and session

• CPF employer contribution provided

• Performance bonus twice a year, based on hours worked and performance
