A regional institution fund manager is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their team. The role is suited to someone experienced in managing senior stakeholders, including executives, founders, ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, and compliance and regulatory professionals. The successful candidate should also be comfortable working with external service providers such as bankers, lawyers, tax advisers, fund administrators, corporate agents, and other professional advisers.
The Client Services Associate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support UHNW clients with their investments across private and public markets, as well as selected personal and family administrative matters.
The role involves handling sensitive financial information, investment and legal documentation, subscription processes, KYC reviews, capital calls and distributions, regulatory filings, reporting, trade instructions, property-related cash-flow administration, and other ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities
. Serve as a primary point of contact for matters relating to clients bank accounts, assets, and investment portfolios.
. Liaise with private banks, financial institutions, legal and tax advisers, portfolio companies, fund administrators, asset managers, and other service providers on behalf of clients.
. Support banking activities, including account openings, trade placement and execution, liquidity and cash management, asset transfers, and related documentation.
. Assist with new investment subscriptions, remittances, and post-transaction matters.
. Manage capital-call and distribution requests, maintain periodic investment updates and capital-account statements, and support KYC requirements.
. Prepare consolidated limited-partner reports for private-market investments and account statements for public-market investments.
. Liaise with portfolio companies to obtain business and fundraising updates for investor reports.
. Work with external service providers to develop tailored solutions for clients.
. Respond to clients ad hoc requests.
. Prepare and update investment-portfolio presentations and service materials for prospective clients.
. Support special-purpose vehicle (SPV) investments and related administrative matters.
. Assist with the preparation of SPV net asset value statements.
Requirements
. Required: Demonstrated experience supporting UHNW clients and administering their family assets and investment portfolios.
. Required: Prior experience in a similar UHNW client-services role within asset management, wealth management, a family office, private equity, or a related industry.
. Strong familiarity with private banking, wealth management, and investment processes across private and public markets.
. Highly organised, meticulous, and attentive to detail, with a strong ability to follow tasks through to completion.
. Comfortable working with portfolio statements and investment reporting.
. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
. Confident in a client-facing role.
. A self-motivated, hardworking, and resourceful team player.
. Suitable for a junior- to mid-level professional.
