We are currently working with a global banking client to look for a Client Onboarding / Transition Specialist on a contract basis.
This role oversees the end-to-end onboarding of institutional clients across the APAC region, acting as the central coordinator from initial engagement through launch. The focus is on delivering a smooth, timely setup by aligning client needs with internal teams and systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main client and sales contact throughout onboarding and launch.
- Drive onboarding timelines by coordinating across KYC, Legal, Credit, Operations, IT, and e-Trading teams.
- Gather and translate client requirements into executable delivery plans (accounts, trading access, reporting, documentation).
- Track and prioritize onboarding activity across the regional pipeline.
- Oversee approvals, system setup, testing, and readiness for go-live.
- Support custom reporting requests and ongoing service enhancements.
- Provide regular progress updates and management reporting to the business.
- Partner with Sales and Client Services to strengthen client relationships and review service offerings.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience within the capital / global markets space within banking and financial services.
- Direct experience in client interaction, in addition to internal relationship management, and cross departmental communication.
- Working with institutional clients / external stakeholders.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
