Looking for Marketing Actuary to help grow its Life & Health reinsurance business in ASEAN, especially Vietnam and Mainland Southeast Asia.
You would work closely with insurance companies, helping them develop products, price reinsurance deals, negotiate contracts, and manage existing business.
- Planning for marketing strategy for the SEA market, mainly on Vietnam.
- Understand the market: Keep up with competitors, market trends, and regulations.
- Work with clients: Help insurance companies develop new life/health products.
- Do actuarial work: Calculate prices and prepare reinsurance quotations.
- Negotiate deals: Discuss terms with clients and help agree and finalise contracts.
- Manage existing clients: Track how existing reinsurance deals are performing, including premiums, claims, and profitability.
- Build relationships: Develop relationships with senior people such as CFOs, Chief Actuaries, product managers, and underwriting managers.
Requirement
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary
- At least 5 years experience in life insurance or reinsurance
- Knowledge of the Vietnamese life insurance market would be a big advantage
- Strong English and Vietnamese communication skills
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Open for international candidates to relocate to Singpoare
- Willingness to travel regularly
