Job Description

Join a leading global commodities business supporting clients across the metals markets.

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Client Liaison to act as a key interface between the trading desk and global client base. This role sits at the centre of market intelligence, client servicing and order execution, offering international exposure and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the metals industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily market intelligence, commentary and trade ideas across non‑ferrous, precious and ferrous metals
  • Manage client orders end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate execution, processing and recaps
  • Promote the full suite of company services to existing and prospective clients
  • Handle overnight orders for London traders using LME V10 and TT platforms, including COMEX and arbitrage where relevant
  • Prepare and coordinate onboarding documentation and ensure compliance with approved account‑opening procedures
  • Support client onboarding, account management and business development activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending meetings and producing detailed visit reports
  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and represent the company
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences and seminars
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of electronic trading platforms and internal systems
  • Assist with order‑desk coverage and undertake additional responsibilities as required

Regulatory & Certification Requirements

  • Compliance with FCA, LME, MAS and AML regulations
  • Singapore: CM‑SIP, RES2B and FMRP qualifications
  • United Kingdom: Unit 1 (UK Financial Regulation) and Unit 3 (Derivatives)
  • All required certifications must be obtained within 3 months of joining

Experience

  • 1–5 years experience in metals, commodities, brokerage, trading support, sales or client relationship management
  • Experience in metals or LME markets is advantageous
  • Familiarity with LME V10, TT, CQG or similar electronic trading platforms
