Responsibilities
- Lead the contracting process for your portfolio, from drafting through negotiation to execution.
- Manage a client channel, oversee its workload, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, operations, and sales to ensure contracts reflect all necessary input and approvals.
- Guide clients through negotiations, setting clear expectations and maintaining trust.
- Ensure risk is mitigated by following appropriate contracting procedures.
- Flag potential issues early and coordinate resolution with impacted teams.
- Maintain a database of non-standard clauses and ensure documentation is properly stored and shared.
- Support sales teams with contract-related queries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex legal contracts.
- 4-7 years of experience in investment management or related fields preferred.
- Relevant legal qualifications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of asset management products, client types, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience using systems to track and manage contract lifecycles.
- Independent, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to balance client needs with firm policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office interest in new technologies is a plus.
